We enjoyed touring northern Italy so much in 2003 that for our 2004 vacation we booked another Globus tour, this time of Southern Italy and Sicily, where Carmella’s father was born. This tour took us rather far afield - over 2,000 miles from Rome to Naples, Sicily, and all the way to Taranto at the “heel” of Italy. We had perfect weather, if you can call 107 degrees perfect.  It rained only one day, during our trip to Alberobello and it cooled things off considerably.  Click on the flag below to view the pix.
