Inn at Montchanin Village

With the apparent demise of our beloved Elliott House Inn in Charleston, we decided to change things up and stay local for New Years Eve, 2009. We chose the Inn at Montchanin Village in Delaware.  The village formerly housed workers at the DuPont gunpowder plant, so there is a bit of US history behind it.  The rooms were recently renovated.  We stayed in the Victor, a very spacious suite, with HD TV, and nice amenities. For NYE dinner we dined at Krazy Katz, on the premises. The name is silly but the food was outstanding.
